‘Les illes del cel’ is a selection of tracks Velmondo and Iro Aka have recorded together in the last three years. Since meeting in 2018 (funny enough in Hivern’s 10th anniversary party), Arnau Obiols (Velmondo), David Iriarte and Carles Rocamora (Iro Aka) have been periodically sharing studio sessions, exploring ways of merging the sonic worlds of both projects. The result are five pieces of psychedelic esoterism that seamlessly blend acoustic percussions with modular synthesis.
